Position Overview We are seeking a
Sales/Account Manager that will prepare and deliver presentations for commercial equipment and services to prospective customers.
Job Responsibilities - Quote jobs and projects for accounts, and provide to customers in a timely manner
- Answer questions from the customers about their systems and setup
- Generate budgeted sales; manage job and pricing to achieve margin goals and grow market share in assigned territory
- Generate sales in assigned territory
- Maintain productive relationships with existing customers
- Presents his or herself in a professional and respectable manner to the customer and assists them with their HVAC needs
- May need to assist the technicians in the field at certain times; Able to work on various types of HVAC equipment
- May need to take supplies, tools, materials and such, to the field technicians when needed
- Able to size duct and equipment and possess electrical knowledge for change-outs and installs and retrofits
Accountabilities - Client Relationships Management – act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Revenue Growth & Retention – meet or exceed revenue targets and growth objectives
- Strategic Planning & Business Development – develop account plans and strategies to drive client success
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT This position will report to the local branch leader and has the responsibility to the service and sales teams.
Qualifications - Must have experience in the Commercial HVAC industry
- Must have sales experience, preferably in HVAC Sales
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Must possess an ability to build strong relationships with customers
BEHAVIORAL PROFILE Language Skills Ability to express ideas clearly and confidently in meetings, calls, and presentations. Understand client needs by attentively listening and responding appropriately.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to access client data, sales trends, and market conditions to identify opportunities. Adapt strategies based on changing client needs or market conditions. Think ahead to anticipate potential obstacles and proactively address them.
Environmental Requirements Will be required to work in the office and travel around to different clients.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to operate the computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
