Salary: $380 / Week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe dictation from physicians or other healthcare personnel. They are responsible for entering patienthistory, diagnoses, medical treatments, medical reports, records, surgicalprocedure documents and miscellaneous correspondence.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification by the AmericanAssociation for Medical Transcription preferred; Certification may be required for specific assignments.
• Thorough knowledge of medicalterminology, anatomy and physiology, medical procedures, medications and medical testinformation preferred.
• Competency with transcribing equipmentand related computer software.
• Current physical exam, if required bystate regulations or contract specifications.
• Current TB test or chest x-ray ifrequired by contract and/or state specific requirements
