Job Description

Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager or Lead, the Quality Assurance Analyst 2 is responsible for delivering well-tested applications to our clients and providing essential feedback to the software development team.

What You'll Do:

• Test applications for defects and ensure proper customer-driven functionality, with a strong focus on functionality, security, and stability.
• Create and review software test plans and validation test cases, and execute manual test cases to ensure product quality.
• Expand product knowledge, especially around complex new features, often becoming a go-to resource for specific product areas.
• Develop a deeper understanding of customer workflows across products, suggesting improvements to streamline regression suites and enhance testing efficiency.
• Proactively add new test scenarios to strengthen the regression suite and ensure sign-off from subject matter experts.
• Train team members in specialized product areas and actively collaborate to clarify test cases and resolve defects, boosting team productivity and coverage.
• Build proficiency in AI testing tools and techniques, independently use advanced testing tools, configure testing environments, and drive process improvements.
• Anticipate potential risks during test cycles and offer solutions to mitigate impact, ensuring tests meet both functionality and performance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to team success and organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Familiarity of the software development lifecycle, preferably with understanding or exposure to agile/scrum methodologies
• Familiarity or exposure to Azure DevOps, SQL and relational DBs
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying process improvements or automation opportunities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Effective problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to simplify complex concepts in clear, and understandable terms for all audiences
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or a willingness to learn emerging QA technologies
• Ability to serve as a functional subject matter expert for ImageTrend products and associated applications
• Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
• Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
• Ability to travel, up to 10%

This role can be performed 100% virtually anywhere in the US while following our Remote Work Policy. Deadline to apply is at least 3 days after the posting date listed.

Position Salary Range: The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000- $90,000 USD + bonus + benefits + perks + community gains. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, education or training and other relevant qualifications.
