Physician Assistants, are you looking for a unique opportunity for short term contracts?!  Haztech has 2 fantastic short-term contracts on an industrial site in Ferndale. Travel, accommodations, and meals covered by the client for anyone coming from out of town.

The PAs will work 12-hour shifts  (day and night shifts available) and have the opportunity to work the entire contract(s) or split the contract(s) into shorter rotations. We are happy to hear what length of coverage you can provide, and then we can build the schedule accordingly.

Please note that we will be administering a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check as part of the employment process. A valid TWIC card is also required, and it will be mandatory to apply for upon employment confirmation from Haztech.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of Haztech's Advanced Life Support (ALS) team, you will be responsible to assess / treat patients healthcare needs. You will work independently, administer nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent, and disabled patients. Your wealth of knowledge will be relied upon to advise patients on their healthcare maintenance, disease prevention and/or provide occupational health case management. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company while providing a safe and positive work environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Washington
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate
• International Trauma Life Support or Trauma Nursing Core Course certificate
• Standard First Aid CPR-HCP
• Valid Drivers License
• Experience providing care on industrial sites an asset
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
