In-Person Occupational Therapist – Palmer, Alaska!

As a member of the MIYO Health team, you’ll work on-site in a school-based setting while benefiting from the support, resources, and community we’ve built for both in-person and remote therapists across the country.

Position Details:

• Location: Palmer, Alaska (in-person role)
• Schedule: Full-time hours, 2025–2026 school year
• Caseload: School-based (public school district)

Requirements

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapy license ( Alaska license required, but we reimburse for licensing!)
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school-based setting
• Experience designing and implementing OT treatment plans aligned with IEPs and 504 plans
• Skilled in conducting assessments, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to complete documentation including evaluations, IEPs, progress reports, and Medicaid billing
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and school staff
• Organized, adaptable, and positive — a natural problem-solver
• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed
