Description A Medical Group in West Hollywood is in the immediate need of a Medical Scribe. The Medical Scribe will serve as a critical support resource for physicians and ensure accurate, real-time documentation of patient encounters. This Medical Scribe offers the chance to help streamline healthcare delivery and enhance the overall patient experience. Key Responsibilities Real-Time Documentation: Accurately input patient information into Electronic Health Records (EHR) based on physician-patient interactions, including patient history, examination details, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Clerical Support: Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks, such as retrieving patient records, updating charts, and organizing documentation. Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure documentation meets all regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance, and maintain attention to detail to minimize errors. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to support seamless patient care and improve workflow efficiency. Preparation & Follow-Up: Help prepare charts for upcoming appointments and make updates post-visit as needed. Requirements Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, administrative support, or transcription roles is preferred but not mandatory. Technical Skills: Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and proficiency in Microsoft Office software is highly desirable. Training may be provided.
