Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial systems and project management, with a focus on financial systems implementations and process improvement.
  • Understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). Experience with NetSuite is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and managing cross-functional or multi-teamwork plans.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as Level 1 (L1) administrator for our ERP system, handling changes to account structures, managing the opening and closing of accounting ledgers and subledgers, and evaluating and granting access rights.
  • Collaborate with operations and IT management to gather business requirements for designing and implementing new processes, including customizing workflows within NetSuite ERP.
  • Ensure full and optimal use of ERP system capabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct testing on new and modified interfaces between the ERP system and external systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Create comprehensive process documentation and workflows to clarify system interfaces and data flows.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to enhance internal control procedures, improve audit efficiencies, and drive process optimization focusing on system operations and financial applications.
  • Support and educate employees on system functionality and internal control compliance processes, assisting IT to mitigate risk.
  • Assist with financial systems integrations and accounting improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Identify accounting process bottlenecks and develop strategic solutions using system automations and lean initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, generate detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor key integration milestones, deliverables, and performance indicators to ensure timely progress.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders to ensure timely project completion and resolve outstanding issues or potential bottlenecks.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving integration and process-related issues and developing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Help design and implement change management strategies to reduce disruption and promote the adoption of new processes and systems.
