JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct internal and customer specific audits regarding special processes (NADCAP)
• Prepare preparation checklists and documentation prior to any in-house, and/or customer specific audits.
• Assist with planning and execution of activities as it relates to the development and supervision of quality.
• Assist with maintaining NADCAP accreditation.
• Collaborate and engage with cross functional project teams focused on new product introduction, continuous improvement, and nonconformance resolution.
• Meet with customers to define their needs and determine the best solutions.
• Participate in design, manufacturing, and test documentation reviews to ensure applicable contract, program, design, and quality requirements are met.
• Develop processes and tools to ensure products and services provided meet all contractual, program, design, and quality requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor"s degree in engineering, or equivalent OR
• Sufficient experience if no Degree
• 5+ years providing engineering support to a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience working in aerospace industry
• Lean and six sigma experience/knowledge
• Proficient with computer systems and basic software - specifically working with Microsoft Excel
• Familiar with NADCAP Chem Processing audits
• Familiar with the chemical process of titanium (cleaning process)
• Familiar with the following specs: BAC5753/BAC5842/P4TF3/P4TF2/DPS9.483
• Proficient at reading, analyzing and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.
• Hands on manufacturing experience is helpful
