Overview:
A leading multi-state health system is seeking a Central Lab Microbiology Manager to oversee microbiology operations within a high-performing hospital laboratory. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead microbiology department operations, workflow, and staff supervision
• Ensure adherence to CAP/CLIA, state, and hospital regulatory standards
• Partner with infectious disease and infection prevention teams
• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee staff training, scheduling, and optimal resource utilization
Qualifications:
• Active Florida MT license required
• Minimum 3 year of microbiology lab leadership experience in acute care
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
