We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Greenwood, IN. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal plant operations. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose malfunctions.
Support equipment installation, setup, and modifications for new and existing machinery.
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities and track parts usage.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing lines.
Follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support root cause analysis of recurring equipment failures.
Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors as needed.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems .
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic controls preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and equipment documentation.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 shift schedule , including weekends and nights.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
