Job Title: Brand Ambassador Department: Marketing

Reports to: Events Coordinator Effective Date: 3/24/25

 

Mint Cannabis originated in Arizona in 2016, and since then, has quickly expanded into several different markets. We currently have 32 retail locations and 5 cultivation/production facilities in Arizona, Florida, Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Michigan. The company continues to expand our footprint and is seeking passionate individuals who are interested in growing with an organization through those expansions. We believe in taking care of our team, so they can take care of our consumers and patients. 

Job Summary:

Brand Ambassadors are the face of our company and promote our products and services. As a successful Brand Ambassador, you will need to attend trade shows, in store popups, 21+ events to showcase our company. You should also be an excellent social media user with the ability to advertise our products. Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic, value teamwork, have professional integrity, a strong sense of personal accountability, and be career-oriented.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Post about our products/services online (e.g. social media and forums)
• Participate in promotional events as a spokesperson for our company
• Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers
• Thoroughly understand our products and services to inform potential customers
• Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques, like referring our company to friends
• Provide feedback to the Marketing and Product departments regarding customers’ requests
• Maintain high-level understanding of a portfolio of Mint Cannabis and client brands in your territory as well as related general cannabis knowledge.

• Provide in-store product demonstrations, conduct patient/customer appreciation day events, and similar special field marketing events on behalf of Mint Cannabis clients to increase brand awareness.
• Obtain and provide pictures of demos, in-store displays.
• Build and maintain relationships with budtenders in your area.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating
• Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available in the Arizona market
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing conditions and communicate effectively.
• An outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong social media presence on multiple platforms

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in retail, customer service, events or cannabis industries.
• 1-2 years of Brand Ambassador & Demonstrator experience.
• At least 6 months experience creating online and social media content

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
