Job Description

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a dynamic non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for maintaining organized financial records. Responsibilities: - Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including receiving, coding, and processing invoices. - Perform all data entry tasks to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. - Process check payments and ensure timely distribution to vendors. - Handle specific deposit types and ensure they are recorded correctly. - Assist with bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements. - Utilize accounting software, including D365, to enter and manage data efficiently. - Collaborate with team members to support additional accounting tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle AP processes. - Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - Familiarity with accounting software, specifically D365, is highly preferred. - Ability to code invoices and process payments effectively. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Excellent communication skills for team collaboration. - Knowledge of bank reconciliation processes is a plus.
