Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Account Manager to lead and grow key retail partnerships. This role will focus on managing existing accounts; driving sales through strategic account planning, strong retailer collaboration, and flawless catalogue and promotion management. The ideal candidate has experience in retail apparel and thrives in fast-paced, complex, results-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary leader on multiple retail accounts, driving Kindred Bravely's objectives forward.
  • Proactively manage customer communications, ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and a relentless commitment to service excellence.
  • Develop and execute bold, customer-centric account strategies to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales goals, maximize profitability and strengthen partnerships.
  • Analyze account performance, craft compelling, insights-driven presentations highlighting business opportunities and translating data into actionable growth plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain superior working relationships; fostering trust and collaboration. 
  • Curate strategic, retailer specific assortments and manage account economics while demonstrating smart, data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and manage exceptional product listings across retail accounts. Collaborate with retailer teams to maximize site merchandising and product/brand placements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, production, marketing, planning, and operations teams to meet retailer needs and fuel account potential.
    • Identify retailer specific assortment opportunities and collaborate with design & production to explore expanded product development. 
    • Collaborate with marketing to manage account advertising strategies & investments.
    • Collaborate with planning and operations to monitor sell-through and inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in account management or sales- apparel experience preferred.
  • Proven success managing, developing and growing marketplace retail accounts.
  • Strong business acumen and high-caliber analytical ability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of assortment curation, retail math, and advertising strategy.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate into business strategies.
  • Experience with Google & Microsoft suites
