Job Description

Salary: $75,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, multisite setups, and WooCommerce (this is a must)
• Strong front-end development abilities with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in back-end development, specifically API integration and database operations using SQL/NoSQL and Node.js frameworks
• Familiarity with PIM and DAM platforms, particularly Plytix, is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, and performance optimization
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git/GitHub
• Hands-on experience with design and development tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and YooTheme
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and multisite configurations
• Implement WooCommerce features and enhancements as necessary
• Design, develop, and enhance front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Create and manage robust back-end functionality, including API integrations and database operations (SQL/NoSQL)
• Utilize Node.js frameworks for scalable solutions
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG), mobile responsiveness, and optimal performance across platforms
• Optimize SEO strategies in partnership with marketing teams
• Manage and integrate content using PIM/DAM systems, especially Plytix
• Use version control systems like GitHub for development workflows
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX/UI designers and content managers
• Oversee and troubleshoot CMS systems while supporting the complete software development lifecycle
• Utilize design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and YooTheme
