Salary: $75,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:
- Proven expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, multisite setups, and WooCommerce (this is a must)
- Strong front-end development abilities with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in back-end development, specifically API integration and database operations using SQL/NoSQL and Node.js frameworks
- Familiarity with PIM and DAM platforms, particularly Plytix, is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices, and performance optimization
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git/GitHub
- Hands-on experience with design and development tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, and YooTheme
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and multisite configurations
- Implement WooCommerce features and enhancements as necessary
- Design, develop, and enhance front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Create and manage robust back-end functionality, including API integrations and database operations (SQL/NoSQL)
- Utilize Node.js frameworks for scalable solutions
- Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG), mobile responsiveness, and optimal performance across platforms
- Optimize SEO strategies in partnership with marketing teams
- Manage and integrate content using PIM/DAM systems, especially Plytix
- Use version control systems like GitHub for development workflows
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX/UI designers and content managers
- Oversee and troubleshoot CMS systems while supporting the complete software development lifecycle
