Pacific First Aid Ltd. in Vancouver, BC is seeking motivated and organized individuals. This position will be responsible for warehouse shipping and receiving operations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate and work closely with internal departments for the smoothness of daily operations;
· Ensure stock flow accuracy and stock locations are timely and properly recorded;
· Liaise with external and internal parties in daily stock handling operations;
· Rationalize the layout and management of the warehouse, plan the storage space and adjust the position;
· Execute daily pick and pack order, and monitor order completion progress;
· Pack and build kits;
· Reduce the dead stock and optimal routing of stock picking;
· Work with online retail platforms;
· Support the Management to set up guidelines and redesign workflow for continuous improvement in efficient operation;
· Responsible for the safety and protection of goods and personnel in the warehouse;
· Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· High school diploma
· Fluency in English
· Ability to lift/carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders without assistance
· Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Analytical and detail-minded with decent problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working in a cooler environment
· Good command of MS office
· Previous warehouse experience as an asset
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and/or forklift
· Previous experience in a produce related field or wholesale field as an asset
· Fluency in second language is an asset
