Job Title: Ultrasound Technician
Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts 02601
Unit: Radiology
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Pay Rate: $2,705 (Weekly Gross)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with departmental and organizational guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Practice according to mandatory organizational requirements and department expectations.
Utilize internal and external resources appropriately.
Document procedures according to entity and department guidelines.
Apply effective time management techniques.
Set up, adjust, and operate medical equipment and instruments.
Perform tests as ordered by physicians.
Address age-specific needs of patients, from infants to older adults.
Perform ultrasound procedures following established exam protocols.
Utilize and maintain equipment expertly.
Perform administrative and additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from a two-year college or certificate program.
Certifications:
BLS-AHA
Abdominal/OB or Echo RDMS
