Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Development: Create and maintain high-quality manuals, user guides, API documentation, and release notes.
  • Style Leadership: Research, write, and implement a standardized style guide for the agency's software development lifecycle.
  • SME Collaboration: Interview developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to distill complex logic and system architecture into clear language.
  • Agile Integration: Operate as a core member of a Scrum team, providing documentation support for fast-paced development cycles.
  • Visuals & Diagramming: Utilize tools to create visual aids and diagrams that explain software workflows and data structures.
  • Compliance: Ensure all written products meet agency standards and digital accessibility requirements (Section 508/WCAG).
