Human Resources Onboarding Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onboarding Coordinator to support the Talent Acquisition team in delivering seamless, high-quality onboarding experience to new hires. This role is ideal for someone with a background in HR or Talent Acquisition who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and values the importance of an organized, professional, and engaging first impression for new employees.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure all new hires experience a timely and compliant onboarding process
Act as a key point of contact for hiring leaders, employees, and new hires-responding professionally to phone and email inquiries
Monitor and follow up on pre-employment requirements such as background checks and health assessments; provide daily updates to the team
Schedule appointments and assessments, audit new hire files for compliance, and communicate clearances to relevant stakeholders
Coordinate travel for relocating hires as needed
Maintain data accuracy across all onboarding documentation, perform file audits, and generate reports on onboarding progress
Support New Employee Orientation (NEO) planning, registration, and communication with leaders
What You Bring to the Role
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or administrative support (Required)
Prior experience specifically in onboarding is strongly preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and applicant tracking/HRIS systems
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a high level of professionalism
Absolute commitment to confidentiality and data integrity
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $21/hour (based on experience)
