Title: Swim Instructor (Seasonal)

Position Type: Seasonal (June 6 – September 6, 2025)

Reports To: Managing Director

• Group Swim Lessons $23.00/hr
• Private Lessons: $25.00/hr (4–6 lessons per week)

Job Overview:

Dive & Thrive is seeking enthusiastic and skilled seasonal Swim Instructors to lead group lessons as part of our Summer Swim Academies and conduct private swim lessons. Swim Instructors will work with swimmers of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe, engaging, and educational experience.

Responsibilities:

• Teach group swim lessons (Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) as part of the Summer Swim Academies (Group Swim Lessons Program) .
• Conduct 4–6 private swim lessons per week .
• Assess swimmers’ progress and provide feedback to participants and parents.
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Ensure water safety and maintain awareness of all participants.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff.
• Set up and clean up equipment before and after lessons.

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older .
• Minimum of 2 years of swimming experience (swim lessons or swim team).
• Previous experience teaching swim lessons preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Passionate about water safety and swim instruction.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
