We are seeking a supply chain manager for Electromechanical/Power Supply/Thermal (Powershelves/PSUs/Power Controllers/ Power Racks/Inverters/Enclosures/Chassis/Heatsinks/Fans/Cold Plates/Rack Manifolds etc.) category to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world. In this role, you will plan, coordinate and manage allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers.


In this role, you will:
- Perform forecasting, demand analysis, material/inventory management, and manage supply buffers with OEMs/ODMs
- Understand manufacturing processes to verify supply commitments and reduce cycle times
- Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, reconcile allocation and monitor changes and cancellations
- Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
- Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
- Produce written recommendations and insights to inform key stakeholders of supply chain health and help shape solution design

Key job responsibilities
- Supplier Forecast generation and demand / supply / material planning with OEMs/ODMs
- Allocations of AWS material from inventory hubs to suppliers
- Requirement and Specification reviews with Hardware Engineering
- Ocean, air, and ground transportation planning
- Supply heatmap generation
- Supplier management
- End-to-end supply continuity for NPI/Sustaining programs

A day in the life
Key Responsibilities / Daily Activities include:
• Material/inventory Planning with ODMs/OEMs
• Supply/Demand planning / forecasting
• Maintaining continuity of supply (COS)
• Communicating supply status, risks/mitigations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership
• Working with data and analytics (ability to view, edit, and extrapolate data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software)
• Working with suppliers/vendors, inventory warehousing teams
• Managing electromechanical component supply chain (Power Supply Units, Powershelves/racks/ controllers, Inverters, racks, frames, mechanical accessories, chassis, fans, heatsinks, rack manifolds, cold plates, enclosures, etc.)
• Capacity planning (expanding new manufacturing lines) with OEMs/ODMs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
- 6+ years in supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
- 4+ years with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, etc.
- 4+ years in program, project, or product management, or leading an implementation of a product.
