The position has the responsibility of ensuring pars are kept and items are in stock while taking into account new merchandise and wines that can create more bar business. This position requires educating the staff on a constant basis about wines.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Wine and Sake program development and maintenance
  • Cost & Inventory management
  • General Beverage Purchasing
  • Ordering, receiving and restocking wine inventory
  • Keep and maintain an accurate wine and sake lists
  • Staff Education
  • On Floor Sales, creating relationship with guests and ensuring the highest service standards
  • Follow and adhere to all health code and federal/state liquor control regulations

Qualifications:

  • 2 years prior experience as Sommelier, Court of Master or WSET Level III Certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge of international wine regions and classic cocktails
  • Ability to carry up to 30lbs

Due to the nature of our business, this position is required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

This position reports directly to the General Manager & Director of Operations
