Job Title: Senior Scrum Master
Location: Houston, Texas- Hybris 3 day/week

Job description:
Client is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join their team. As a Scrum master, you will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within our business unit, ensuring we can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.
You will work closely with the product development team to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will serve as a coach and mentor to our team – helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the team is meeting its objectives consistently.
Job responsibilities:
•Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the company.
•Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices.
•Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.
•Work with the Product Owners to prioritize the product backlog.
Your tasks
•Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
•Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team's progress.
•Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
•Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
•Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
•Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
•Promotes Test Automation
•Ensures no changes are made that would endanger the Sprint Goal
•Ensures quality goals do not decrease
•Facilitate Release (Planning) Workshop
•Educate the Scrum Team including the Product Owner on agile requirements, agile planning, backlog creation practices and all things Scrum
•Monitor transparency of release vision
•Promote commonly accepted better Agile/Scrum practices
•Promote transparency by ensuring that all Scrum events take place to facilitate opportunities to inspect and adapt
•Coordinate among the Scrum Team and monitor adherence to Scrum practices
Required skills and qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience required
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
•Deep knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and artifacts.
•Ability to effectively lead meetings, actively listen, and guide discussions.
•Responding to changing circumstances and adjusting plans as needed.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.

Preferred skills and qualifications
•General conceptual understanding of programming, infrastructure, cloud services and DB querying.
•Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
•SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus.
•Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
