Description

The Senior Operating Room Assistant supports the effective and efficient functioning of the Surgical Services Department at Providence Everett – Colby Campus. The individual in this role is responsible for assisting with operating room turnover between surgical cases, providing patient transport, and performing Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) functions such as clerical support, communication, and supply management.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

  • 1 year job-related experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Graduate from a hospital-based Nursing Assistant program or relevant healthcare support training

  • 1 year Operating Room Assistant, CNA, HUC, or related perioperative support role

Pay Range: $23.15 - $39.86

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
