Job Description

Overview; 

We are looking for a full-time Senior Designer to join our team. This role involves supporting all aspects of site development and civil engineering, including grading, stormwater management, and utility design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Excel. Our designers typically handle multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with various team members, so strong communication and teamwork skills are crucial. This position is based in our Orlando office, and the successful candidate will be expected to work on-site full-time.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Two-year associate degree or technical school degree or higher.
  • Minimum of ten years of civil-related drafting experience utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D modeling, including setup and use of alignments, profiles, surfaces, assemblies, corridors, and earthwork quantity calculations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, Sketch-Up, and other related software packages.
  • Experience with applying drafting standards and established company procedures.
  • Submits documentation packages and prepares drawing sets and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures the maintenance of drawing files for active projects.
  • Responsible for staying current with the latest developments in CAD.
  • Handles multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to assist with project completion.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
