Now hiring a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a school nurse position in Auburn, WA for the '24/'25 school year!

Job: School RN

Location(s): Auburn, WA

RN Pay:

• $47-$50/hr.

Room to negotiate pay based on experience.

Position Details:

• Administers first aid, medication, and specialized medical treatment.
• Assesses situations involving students' safety, abuse, and other health-related issues.
• Collaborates with parents, students, health care providers, and/or other agencies.
• Conducts programs and/or activities, e.g., health screening, etc.
• Develops and maintains health care plans, medical emergency cards, emergency care plans, records, e.g., mandated screening, chronic illness, etc.
• Implements school health care plans and emergency care plans.
• Prepares a wide variety of written materials, e.g., quantity reports, student activities, correspondence, internal audits, etc.
• Provides staff training on a variety of health-related subjects, e.g., CPR, universal precautions, disaster preparedness, child abuse, health education, etc.
• Reports students with contagious diseases as mandated by local public health authorities.
• Responds to emergency situations and/or evaluates need to activate local EMS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in public nursing required.
• Must have active WA or compact RN license in good standing.
• Certification: CPR/BLS.
