In this role, you'll expand on our success with creative entrepreneurs, agencies, freelancers, and small creative businesses across the nation. You'll work with business owners who are passionate about their craft but need expert guidance to optimize their finances, reduce their tax burden, and build sustainable businesses.  

Familiarity with the creative industry is helpful because we compete in a large market with many alternatives, so being able to grasp the nuance that makes our services superior and what keeps creative clients with us for years is important.  

We have a proven track record of successful client relationships and solving creative business owners' financial problems, and we want you to be able to leverage that effectively in your sales efforts.  

The people that have been the most successful in this role have a proven track record of developing relationships with small business owners, entrepreneurs and creative professionals alike. You lean forward instead of leaning back. You get it done. You will need at least 3 years of solid performance in B2B sales to qualify for this position.

If you can’t walk into a room full of creative people and not see the opportunity to connect, to hear a story or to sell, this position is not for you.  

As a sales pro, you understand the difference between a true business development rep and someone just taking orders.  

Order takers can handle the easy  sales, but when they need to actually convey expertise and answer detailed questions about tax strategies, business structures, and financial planning, they freeze and break trust. This position is for a sales professional that can build trust and transfer confidence to every creative business owner they approach.

Objectives of this Role  

 

Land and expand relationships with creative business owners who need our comprehensive accounting and financial services across the nation.  

 

Ultimately we will train you thoroughly on the details of our services and the unique needs of creative businesses, but you'll need to already be equipped with the drive and passion for helping clients get the best possible results from our solutions. You also must have the ability to sell on value and differentiate from competitors.  

 

Here are a few other things we look for:  

 

Qualify Leads : Using defined criteria to ensure you're speaking with decision-makers who are ready to invest in professional financial services.  

 

Convert Leads:   Guide qualified prospects through our sales pipeline via strategic follow-up, consultative selling, and compelling presentations.  

 

Manage CRM : Maintain up-to-date records of all interactions, opportunities, and outcomes.  

 

Prospect Consistently : Identify and reach out to a minimum of 10 new potential clients per week through cold calling, email campaigns, social outreach, and referrals.  

 

Build Long-Term Relationships: Ensure satisfaction, retention, and opportunities for additional services.  

 

Represent at Events : Attend industry gatherings, creative conferences, and networking events to generate leads and deepen client engagement.  

 

Comfort with Creative Professionals : Our target clients aren’t always traditional business owners and may prioritize other goals beyond bottom line profit.

Skills and Qualifications:  

 

3+ years of B2B sales experience (creative or marketing industry preferred)  

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets  

Experience with outbound prospecting and cold calling  

Proficiency in CRM platforms (Go High-level preferred)  

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills   

Comfortable with remote structure and 25-50% travel  

Understanding of small business challenges and entrepreneurial mindset  

Ability to close minimum 2 new sales per week   

Digital savvy via socials & capable in sharing Extreme Ownership in CORE & represent.

Job Type: Full-time, Remote  

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 base + commission (Total expected earnings: $110,000 - $125,000) 

Travel: ~25% domestic travel required  

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm business hours * off hours based on travel /events - we work on ROWE method. You getting the results? Great! Your output is meeting the results!
