We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Part-Time Sales & Marketing Coordinator to be a core driver of our growth. The primary goal of this role is revenue generation, achieved by expanding our audience, increasing paid memberships, and strengthening brand partnerships. The position demands a blend of strategic sales thinking, tactical marketing execution, and a relentless focus on maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

With a primary focus on strategic sales & revenue generation, the ideal candidate will demonstrate results in:

  • Sales Strategy & Lead Closing: Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales leads for professional development contracts with schools, districts, and organizations.
  • Package and Offer Development: Work with the leadership team to develop, package, and price specific membership tiers and partnership offers designed to meet the needs of various target market segments.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Own the sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion, consistently tracking prospects, managing the CRM, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Asset Leverage: Identify opportunities to promote and monetize our existing curriculum assets and professional learning inventory through targeted campaigns and promotions.
  • Partnership Growth: Assist in preparing strategic materials (decks and proposals) to secure new sponsorship and collaboration agreements that drive large-scale revenue.
  • Reporting: Prepare brief reports summarizing sales performance, campaign ROI, and membership growth metrics to inform future strategy.

Clear and strategic short and long-term planning in marketing & digital communications will lead to strong outcomes in:

  • Campaign Execution: Plan, develop, and execute high-converting digital marketing campaigns (email and social media) to promote programs, drive website traffic, and push sales.
  • Content Alignment: Maintain consistent, sales-focused branding and messaging across all digital channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Performance Tracking: Relentlessly track marketing analytics, engagement metrics, and campaign performance to optimize spending and strategy for maximum revenue impact.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the communications team to ensure promotional content (visuals, videos) is aligned with sales goals.

Position Details

  • Part-time: 20-25 hours per week. This is a hybrid position, requiring regular remote work and weekly in-person meetings in DUMBO, Brooklyn. The role is expected to transition to a fully in-person position in the future.
  • Compensation Structure: This is a high-impact, performance-driven role with potential On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $30–$40+/hour. Base Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hour (commensurate with experience). Quarterly Performance Bonus: Additional revenue-based compensation tied directly to closed sales of new professional development contracts, and growth in program memberships. This structure is designed to heavily reward revenue generation and closing deals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in marketing or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals (education or nonprofit experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing tools (Brevo, Adobe, Canva, WordPress, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple marketing projects simultaneously.
