Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to support efficient and safe energy operations. As part of our drilling operations team, you will help maintain rig efficiency and safety, ensuring our customers’ success in every project.
As a Floor Hand, you will play a key role in supporting drilling operations and maintaining a clean, safe, and productive rig environment. You’ll work directly under the Driller’s supervision, handling critical rig floor tasks that keep operations running smoothly and safely.
As a Floor Hand, you will be responsible for:
Assisting in handling and connecting tubing, casing, and drill pipe
Operating rig floor tools such as tongs, slips, pipe spinners, and elevators under the direction of the Driller
Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of rig floor and equipment
Monitoring rig floor for hazards and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
Following all safety procedures and wearing PPE at all times
Supporting other crew members as needed to complete jobs on schedule
Demonstrating the ability to work safely at heights
Have experience in labor-intensive roles or a willingness to learn and follow instructions
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Be physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 35 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
Show perfect attendance and reliability in completing assigned shifts
Have a basic understanding of safety practices and procedures
This role involves field-based work on rotational or shift patterns, depending on rig assignments. You’ll work closely with experienced team members to develop your technical and operational skills in a dynamic drilling environment.
