McCarthy Tire Service, one of the top commercial tire dealers in North America, is looking for a dependable and motivated Off-the-Road (OTR) Tire Technician to join our team at a dedicated mine site in Kershaw, SC . This is a resident position —all working hours are spent on-site at the mine.

No experience with OTR tires? No problem. We’re ready to invest in your future with comprehensive training and on-the-job support . What You’ll Do:

• Mount, demount, repair, and inspect OTR tires on heavy mining equipment
• Perform daily tire maintenance and inspections at the mine site
• Maintain service records and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Work closely with site supervisors and mine personnel
• Operate tire handling and service equipment safely and effectively

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Willingness to work in a mine environment
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Mechanical aptitude or tire service experience is a plus
• Willingness to obtain TIA OTR Tire Certification (we’ll support you!)
