McCarthy Tire Service, one of the top commercial tire dealers in North America, is looking for a dependable and motivated Off-the-Road (OTR) Tire Technician to join our team at a dedicated mine site in Kershaw, SC . This is a resident position —all working hours are spent on-site at the mine.

No experience with OTR tires? No problem. We’re ready to invest in your future with comprehensive training and on-the-job support . What You’ll Do:

Mount, demount, repair, and inspect OTR tires on heavy mining equipment
Perform daily tire maintenance and inspections at the mine site
Maintain service records and ensure safety protocols are followed
Work closely with site supervisors and mine personnel
Operate tire handling and service equipment safely and effectively

What We’re Looking For:

A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Willingness to work in a mine environment
Valid driver's license (required)
Mechanical aptitude or tire service experience is a plus
Willingness to obtain TIA OTR Tire Certification (we’ll support you!)
