Job Description

Serves as program coordinator for portfolio of awards in the field of HIV, mental health, substance use disorders, and marginalized diverse populations. Conducts outreach with marginalized populations and provides leadership over outreach team.

This is a key position. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the grant portfolio. Portfolio of grants for syndemics in ending the HIV epidemic in marginalized and unhoused population. Involves oversight and coordination of research grant programs, including program development, planning and evaluation, peer review and applicant relations, grant application and award management, and synthesis and dissemination of research findings.

Participate in recruitment by assisting with creating outreach materials, emailing participants, community partners, assisting with planning outreach events, etc. Assist with surveys by assisting with survey creation and editing in Qualtrics, Redcap, etc. Help with reimbursements for study participants; and assist with data management.

The program coordinator will assist the program director as needed. Position will collate data for written and statistical reports, schedule meetings, provide administrative support, analyze data, design web-based data collection tools. Develops and presents training for personnel. Completes intake evaluations, utilization reviews and client summaries. Conducts meetings with community groups and partners. Helps to prepare SAMHSA reports and budgets. Coordinates program with community service providers. Schedules outreach. Maintains program documentation. Receives and reviews requests for services. Responsibilities will include data collection, participant recruitment, data management, and assisting in the analysis and interpretation of research findings.

Assist with surveys, and enter data into databases and perform regular data quality checks. Ensure data integrity and confidentiality. Follow research protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure the study's integrity and reliability of data.

Adhere to ethical guidelines in research involving human subjects, ensuring participant rights, privacy, and confidentiality.

Contribute to the preparation of IRB applications and modifications, protocols, research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for conferences and scientific publications.

Work collaboratively with other research team members, including principal investigators, co-investigators, and graduate students.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $58,109 - $123,505 (Annual Rate).
