Physical Therapist (PT) – Hospital-Based | Leon, IA

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a hospital-based rehabilitation team in Leon, IA . This full-time position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient therapy services , providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and mobility.
  • Therapy Services: Provide hands-on therapy for both inpatient and outpatient populations, tailoring treatments to their specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete evaluations, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with state and organizational standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Program Development: Help design and implement therapy programs that improve patient outcomes and enhance rehabilitation services.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines for optimal patient care and safety.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy to provide cutting-edge treatments and improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Must possess or be eligible for state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Iowa .
  • Experience: While prior experience is a plus, we welcome new graduates who are eager to grow, learn, and develop professionally.
  • Patient-Focused: Passion for delivering high-quality care and improving patient mobility and function.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
