JD :- Position Overview

  • The Mobile Hybrid Senior Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of hybrid mobile applications within the Medicaid domain.
  • The role requires a deep understanding of hybrid mobile frameworks, cloud services, and healthcare compliance standards to ensure high-performing, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hybrid mobile technologies, backend integration, and a strong focus on delivering solutions tailored to the Medicaid landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

  • Lead the development of hybrid mobile applications using frameworks like Ionic, React Native, Flutter, or Cordova.
  • Ensure the applications meet Medicaid program requirements and adhere to state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate requirements into functional mobile solutions.

Technical Leadership:

  • Act as a technical lead for hybrid mobile application projects within the Medicaid domain.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish development best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of secure coding practices and ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST standards.

Integration & API Management:

  • Build and maintain secure APIs and integrations with Medicaid backend systems, including eligibility, claims, and provider data.
  • Work closely with the backend teams to ensure seamless data flow between mobile applications and core systems.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize the performance of hybrid mobile apps across both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Implement offline-first and progressive web app (PWA) approaches for enhanced user experience in low-connectivity environments.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure mobile applications meet quality standards.

Implement automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for mobile app releases.

Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure mobile applications adhere to Medicaid guidelines, HIPAA compliance, and data security best practices.
  • Implement authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO for secure user access.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hybrid mobile development (Ionic, React Native, Flutter, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Medicaid workflows, claims processing, and eligibility systems.
  • Experience with backend integrations using RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with mobile app distribution through App Store and Google Play.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Medicaid policy, CMS guidelines, and state-specific regulations.
  • Familiarity with FHIR and HL7 standards.
  • Experience with native app modules for performance-critical features.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance for healthcare apps.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
