We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our public relations efforts and contribute to the overall success of our communications strategies. As a Public Relations Assistant, you will assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns, draft press materials, and help manage our social media presence.

Job: Full time

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

THIS WILL BE AN ON-SITE JOB

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with media representatives and influencers.
• Coordinate and assist with public relations events, press conferences, and community outreach programs.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on public relations activities and outcomes.
• Assist in the creation of content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with PR initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) in public relations, communications, or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
