Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Controls Specialist - Cost in Philadelphia, PA
As a Project Controls Specialist, you will:
- Lead project controls processes and consults with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Present schedule and budget status reports to project management team and client.
- Validate proper set-up and management of the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
- Analyze data, logs, and reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.
- Validate proper Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is utilized.
- Develop effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports and forecasts for multiple projects.
- Develop, implement, and manage the reporting data warehouse to produce valuable program controls reports and data for multiple large projects.
- Provide leadership and training to team members ensuring the resolution of difficult project control issues.
- Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 4-7 years of direct project controls experience.
- Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating and document control required.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
- Ability to facilitate and produce detailed construction schedules and interface those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on years of experience *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
