Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Owner to lead the discovery, implementation, and sustainment of a comprehensive ServiceNow suite for a dedicated Department of Defense (DoD) community. This high-visibility effort requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with stakeholders, drive priorities, and ensure that our solutions meet both operational needs and broader program objectives.
In this role, you will be the key liaison between stakeholders and the implementation team, overseeing multiple ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD). Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering a secure, compliant, and user-friendly solution.
This position is primarily onsite (4 days per week), with 1 remote day to balance collaboration and flexibility.

What You'll Do:
- Define and execute the ServiceNow product roadmap in alignment with stakeholder priorities and program goals.
- Engage with key stakeholders—functional experts, developers, testers, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional team members—to capture and prioritize requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, document functional designs (user stories, workflows, and data models), and translate high-level objectives into actionable deliverables.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, groomed, and prioritized.
- Oversee the development and deployment of ServiceNow modules, ensuring compliance with security standards and operational needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews, to maintain team momentum and transparency.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous solution improvement.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership, offering insights to drive informed decisions.
- Advocate for Agile best practices, fostering a collaborative, adaptable, and iterative approach to solution delivery.
- Support training and change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and long-term success.
