Job Description

Rudolf Steiner School seeks a part-time (50%) Athletics Director and PE Teacher beginning November 24, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Support the School’s Athletic Director in managing the athletics program for grades 7–12.
• Assist in coordinating practices and games across all sports teams.
• Support athletics communications to students, families, and faculty via multiple platforms.
• Promote school spirit and sportsmanship throughout the community.
• Teach one 90-minute PE class each day to students in 7th-12 grades, with a curriculum based on Waldorf education principles that promote movement, skill development, fitness, and joy in physical activity.
• Assess and report on student progress.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment where all students can thrive regardless of athletic ability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience teaching and coaching preferred.

Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000/year
