At our Greenwood, IN facility, your shift (1st or 2nd) begins with a blueprint in hand and a laser system ready to perform. As a Precision Laser Marking Technician, you’ll translate prints into clean, permanent marks on metal components by programming, setting up, and running a laser engraving/etching machine.

How your day unfolds

• Build accurate, efficient laser engraving programs that reflect current prints and work instructions.
• Own and organize the digital program files used by our laser engraving equipment.
• Partner closely with Engineering to resolve questions and remove ambiguity before production starts.
• Set up the laser engraving/etching machine per specifications to process parts safely and correctly.
• Verify quality with precision tools—calipers, micrometers, squares, and height gauges—to ensure every mark meets the standard.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or formal training operating or programming laser equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions from written procedures, verbal direction, and diagrams.
• Comfort with math: units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
