Raytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for First shift to maintain security of the facility and to ensure a safe environment for employees. You must have the ability to work independently and with a team. This position requires the that you work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays. You must also work overtime as needed. **What You Will Do** + Operate a security control center by monitoring closed-circuit television, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems. + Respond to alarms and emergencies. + Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities. + Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks. + Open and close secure areas. + Process visitors in and out of the facility. + Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues. **Qualifications You Must Have** + HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
