Job Description

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

$2,000 - $4,000 Quarterly Bonuses

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the World Trade Center office in New York, NY.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2+ years of paralegal experience, ideally in employment discrimination or civil litigation.

Job Description

• Provide litigation support in employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wrongful termination, and civil rights cases
• Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents
• Conduct legal and factual research using databases such as Lexis, Westlaw, and PACER
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including depositions, mediations, and trial prep
• Manage client communication, intake, and ongoing case updates
• Organize and maintain both electronic and physical case files
• Handle docketing, scheduling, and case management tasks
• Support attorneys in high-profile federal court litigation

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a paralegal (employment law or civil litigation strongly preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal case management software
• Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish bilingual skills a plus but not required
