Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate woodworking equipment, including saw, table saw, chop saw, nail gun, screw gun, and other power tools. 
• Crate and Package finished goods product to ensure no freight damage. 
• Follow General Work Instructions and verbal instructions to Crate and package products with good quality. 
• Read all documentation, including BOMs, Prints, Parts Lists, and Drawings. 
• Use measurements to determine the optional size of crates and materials needed for shipment. 
• Maintain and Update the Weights and Dimensions log via Teams/Excel.
• Maintain inventory stock in the area by providing purchasing requests. 
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment by conducting 5S housekeeping activities at the end of the shift. 
• Attend monthly safety trainings, follow and support all company safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor include but are not limited to Shipping, Receiving, and Assembly. 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of related experience and/or education. 
• Power Tool experience with woodworking tools. 
• Ability to read a tape measurement and make basic calculations on crate sizing. 
• Ability to follow palletizing procedures and processes.
• Must be able to operate a crane system safely. 
• Must become forklift and electric pallet jack certified within a few days of employment.  Prior Forklift certification is preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to follow instructions and a positive “can do” attitude. 
• Must pass a background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen.
