With decades of proven success in the marine industry, the company is known for delivering quality products, exceptional customer service, and strong support to boating professionals and enthusiasts across the region.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Rep will manage a multi-state territory in the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic , focusing on developing new business and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel to meet clients face-to-face, conduct product demos, and close deals. Candidates with a strong background in marine equipment, boating culture, or related industries are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the assigned region.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
• Assess customer needs and provide tailored product solutions.
• Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts.
• Track sales activity and maintain customer records using CRM software.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Stay informed on product updates, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales experience (marine or related industries preferred).
• Strong knowledge of boats, marine equipment, and boating terminology.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic.
