Scope
Payroll Solution Review includes
Conduct a retroactive review of management's prior assessment of errors related to the 2024 T4s generated from Oracle not limited to specific focus on the conversion of CPP Pensionable Earnings from Meditech.
Validate whether the identified errors were appropriately addressed and if any residual risks remain.
Payroll Configuration Assessment (Oracle)
Perform a comprehensive review of payroll configurations in Oracle, including mapping, related setup, and embedded system reports used for T4 generation.
Identify any discrepancies or misalignments that could lead to reporting errors.
Evaluate how CPP Pensionable Earnings were mapped during the Meditech-to-Oracle conversion to ensure compliance with CRA requirements.
Controls Evaluation & Recommendations
Assess the effectiveness of system-embedded controls currently in place to detect mapping errors.
Identify any control gaps impacting 2025 T4 generation and propose enhancements or mitigation steps.Recommend sustainable processes to strengthen future compliance and reduce the risk of similar issues.
