Job description

Venture Optical Management provides professional optical management. Our mission is to build a superior optical that ensures a remarkable patient experience while enhancing the growth of the practice and maximizing profits. We currently seek a full-time Optician to join our growing team in Kissimmee, FL !

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least three (3) year optical experience required
• Strong customer service experience
• Previous sales experience preferred
• ABO-NCLE certification is a plus

Job Duties:

• Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs.
• Measure customers’ eyes for the proper fit of eyeglasses.
• Educate customers on the care and maintenance of eyeglasses.
• Dispense, adjust and make minor repairs on eyewear.
• Maintain inventory of frames, lenses and other optical supplies.
• Inspect eyewear to ensure they meet optical standards.
• Interpret and explain patients’ vision insurance benefits.
• All other duties as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday / 8-hour shift
