Job Description

Position Overview:

As the Operations/Project Manager of Grateful Painting, LLC, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage teams, coordinate with clients, and streamline processes. The position will work closely with the Sales and Finance Teams to provide weekly operations reports, monthly financial overviews, quarterly performance metrics, and annual strategic plans. 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of painting projects across residential, commercial, and educational sectors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and support production team, ensuring adherence to company policy and industry standards while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Prepare and instruct teams on best practices, safety protocols, and company procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new team members.

Client Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project lifecycle, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Scheduling and Communication:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate scheduling and scope of work details to all relevant parties, including the project manager, customers, and painting crews, ensuring alignment and understanding across the board.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in project scope or client needs.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and address any issues promptly.

Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory of materials and equipment, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into operation

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field desired. 
  • 3+ years experience in operations management, preferably within the painting or construction industry. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Bilingual is a plus
