Job Description

MedCare Pediatric Group is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing team to provide, evaluate, and implement occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.

*** PRN opening for Afterschool and/or Saturday availability at our Stafford Clinic ***

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Texas by anticipated start date
Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

Provides treatment as directed and supervised by the licensed Occupational Therapist for patients on assigned caseload according to discipline standards
Observes, records, and reports any significant changes in the patient’s condition to the Director/Assistant Director, Supervising Occupational Therapist, and physician.
Assists in ensuring that all patient areas are properly cleaned and sanitized at the end of each treatment session
Collaborates with all team members to plan and carry out the best possible therapeutic program for assigned caseload
