Role: NetSuite Consultant

Contract 2-3 Months

We recently implemented the NetSuite accounting module and also their Field Service Management for our ERP/ project tracking. We do have some projects that we are considering hiring specialists to assist with such as the Purchase Order workflow and materials management through the FSM mobile app.

NetSuite Implementation Overview:

• NetSuite implementation began in July.
• Financials module was converted first.
• Initially tried using the Construction Management module, but it wasn't a good fit.
• NetSuite upsold them on Field Service Management which went live in mid-December.
• FSM is now being used as their project tracking tool.
• Because they bill by services (not hourly), some customizations were required.

Internal Team Involvement:

• Two internal team members were heavily involved in the implementation.
• They're now fairly self-sufficient with backend understanding, troubleshooting, and making fixes.

Purchase Order Workflow:

• Finance team attempted to build the workflow but ran into gaps.
• Ability to select approvers dynamically in the process.

Field Service Management (FSM):

• Need someone with FSM expertise to assist with backend configuration and customization.

Materials Management via FSM Mobile App:

• Interested in exploring what's possible in terms of materials tracking and management through the app.

Other Tools & Integration Issues:

• Using Ramp as their AP automation tool integrated with NetSuite
