We are seeking a motivated Model Integration Trainee to support integration and deployment efforts between Deltek Costpoint and Infor LN financial and project accounting modules. This role provides an opportunity to learn how enterprise financial systems communicate, how integration gaps are resolved, and how data flows between complex ERP platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers, functional leads, and architects to gain hands-on experience in financial system integrations.
Key Responsibilities Integration SupportAssist in reviewing Costpoint GL, Project Cost Accounting, and related submodules.
Learn how to identify and address integration gaps between Costpoint and Infor LN.
Support mapping of project codes, accounting dimensions, and cost elements between systems.
Help in preparing integration documentation and test scripts.
Assist with basic SQL queries, data validation, and mapping exercises.
Support data conversion efforts for master data, open transactions, and project balances.
Learn to collaborate with middleware/integration platforms (e.g., Infor ION, MuleSoft).
Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) under guidance.
Assist in defect logging, tracking, and basic remediation tasks.
Maintain organized documentation for integration workflows and processes.
Work closely with senior integration engineers and functional leads to understand best practices.
Gain exposure to financial system compliance concepts like CAS/FAR.
Build foundational knowledge in enterprise ERP integrations and project accounting workflows.
Basic understanding of financial/accounting systems (ERP exposure preferred but not mandatory).
Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, or databases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Interest in learning integration tools, APIs, and middleware platforms.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Exposure to ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or Infor LN (academic projects, internships, or self-learning).
Awareness of ERP posting logic, accounting workflows, or compliance standards.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting Systems, or a related field.
