Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Security Consultant to join our team. As a Data Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust data security solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Your expertise will ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Ability to effectively work with stakeholders and business users to ensure technical solution meets business requirements

Essential Skills:

Data Security Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive data security strategies tailored to the clients specific needs and requirements. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential data security threats and vulnerabilities within the Microsoft Fabric environment. Security Architecture Design: Design and deploy secure data architectures, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, to safeguard sensitive information. Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all data security measures comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. Develop and implement incident response plans to address data breaches and security incidents effectively. Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in the data security infrastructure. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to data security. Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees and stakeholders on data security best practices and policies. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security protocols, procedures, and incident reports. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data security technologies and methodologies to continuously enhance the security posture of the organization. Qualifications. Experience with Microsoft Fabric security features. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and frameworks. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards. Experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
