Job Description

Overview:

BroadPath is excited to be hiring Medicaid Member Service Representatives to Work at Home! Join BroadPath’s high-speed and connected culture and enjoy concerts, magic shows, trivia nights, group chats and our unique Bhive platform.

Our Medicaid Member Service Representatives will be responsible for delivering knowledgeable and courteous customer service and support for customer and provider Health Insurance related inquiries. Advocates will communicate with members via phone and email and will be performing detailed data entry tasks.

Compensation Highlights:

  • Base Pay: up to $18.00 per hour
  • Pay Frequency : Weekly

Schedule Highlights:  

  • Training Schedule: 4 weeks, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
  • Production Schedule: 8am-8pm Central, Monday-Sunday 
Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist members with Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and enrollment questions
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding plan coverage, claims, and available resources
  • Guide members through application processes, documentation requirements, and next steps
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA
  • Document all member interactions and outcomes in the system accurately and timely
  • Assist members with updating personal information and verifying eligibility details
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet performance metrics and service level agreements
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when addressing member concerns
  • Stay current on Medicaid program updates, policies, and system changes
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of Medicaid experience (within the last 4 years)

  • Call center experience in a hospital or healthcare-related environment
  • Knowledge of medical and healthcare terminology

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Strong computer and data entry skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Healthcare knowledge and/or call center experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-related software programs

  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and independently resolve issues

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Capability to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
