Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering Professional with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Data Validation, and Automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system, integration, and UAT testing across complex enterprise data platforms, ensuring data integrity and compliance with business rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Should able to Perform ETL, Data Warehouse, and MDM testing, validating data flows across staging and UAT environments.
Strong expertise in testing data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows built on Snowflake, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and performance.
Able to Conduct data model validation aligned with business rules, transformation logic, and governance standards.
Familiarity with Collibra and data governance practices, ensuring metadata accuracy and adherence to enterprise data standards.
Design and execute functional, API, mobile, and database testing strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, business analysts) to define testing requirements and priorities.
Manage defect tracking, triaging, and resolution, ensuring timely closure and quality delivery.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to improve product quality.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, integrating QA activities into development cycles.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and Karate.
Hands-on experience with API testing (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or similar
Fair understanding of AI tool related to database/ETL testing such as ETL Validator, iceDQ and QuerySurge
Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Exposure to data governance standards and compliance frameworks.
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern ETL tools.
